Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question about NTX Training Institute or our program? See our most common questions below.

How much is the total cost of tuition?

The total tuition amount for seven weeks of phlebotomy coursework and training is $990.

Are there any additional costs for textbooks or materials?

No additional costs! Your tuition covers your textbooks, supplies, and learning materials. So come ready to learn, and we’ll handle the rest!

What if I have to miss a class?

It’s easy to reschedule. Contact your instructor. Together, you’ll find the most convenient date for your make-up class.

Does NTX Training Institute offer NHA-certification testing?

Yes! At the conclusion of our seven-week phlebotomy training course, students can take the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam in class at NTX Training Institute.

The CPT exam is the industry-standard certification exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). If you want to become a certified phlebotomist, you have to pass the two-hour exam. We give you all the knowledge, test preparation, and test-taking strategies to pass the exam and get certified.

Are payment plans available?

Yes! All that’s required is a deposit of $100 to get started. Our payment plans are simple and easy, with no interest.

When you enroll for classes, choose the payment plan option, and an instructor will contact you to go over the details.

Are there scholarships available?

Yes! If you believe in the power of compassionate healthcare to change lives in families and communities across North Texas, we invite you to apply for our NTX Career Development Scholarship. Recipients are provided with a $445 grant that covers half the cost of tuition. Go to our scholarship page to apply.

What should I bring to class?

For clothing, we recommend bringing a pair of scrubs and closed toe shoes to wear during classes. Feel free to bring a favorite pen, notebook, or planner (and if you forget, don’t worry. We have notepads and pens available anytime you need them.)

Will I get a job after graduation?

The medical industry is growing larger every year, and the demand for phlebotomy technicians is at an all-time high. As a phlebotomist, you have the power to work where you want to. Hospitals, urgent care centers, and clinics need people with your skills. Take your pick.
