Seven Weeks of Coursework + NHA-Certification Exam Testing

Classes are held two days per week at our brand-new phlebotomy training facility in Denton. In just seven weeks, you will gain the in-depth knowledge, practical skills, and industry smarts necessary to become a successful phlebotomist.

Students have the opportunity to take the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam in class. We provide exam preparation and registration assistance, making it easier than ever for you to become certified phlebotomists through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Approved Curriculum & Hands-On Instruction

We teach students the technical and procedural aspects of basic phlebotomy, from theory to hands-on instruction. Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • Phlebotomy Fundamental Essentials
  • Phlebotomy Equipment & Supplies
  • Phlebotomy Procedures
  • Introduction to Human Anatomy & Physiology
  • Introduction to Phlebotomy & Infection Control
  • Legal Issues in Healthcare

As a student, you can learn at your own pace, get help from classmates, and benefit from friendly, knowledgeable instructors.

Prerequisites

To get started, students must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Convenient Night & Day Classes

We give you options so you can find a class schedule that’s convenient for you. When you enroll, just select the cohort that fits your schedule.

Cohort #1 meets Mon. & Wed., 10 am – 2 pm

Cohort #2 meets Mon. & Wed., 6 pm – 10 pm

Payment Plans & Scholarships Available

We offer zero-interest payment plans that split the cost of tuition into three payments. Apply for our NTX Career Development Scholarship to receive a $445 grant covering half the cost of tuition.

How much is the total cost of tuition?

The total tuition amount for seven weeks of phlebotomy coursework and training is $990.

Are there any additional costs for textbooks or materials?

No additional costs! Your tuition covers your textbooks, supplies, and learning materials. So come ready to learn, and we’ll handle the rest!

What if I have to miss a class?

It’s easy to reschedule. Contact your instructor. Together, you’ll find the most convenient date for your make-up class.

Does NTX Training Institute offer NHA-certification testing?

Yes! At the conclusion of our seven-week phlebotomy training course, students can take the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam in class at NTX Training Institute.

The CPT exam is the industry-standard certification exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). If you want to become a certified phlebotomist, you have to pass the two-hour exam. We give you all the knowledge, test preparation, and test-taking strategies to pass the exam and get certified.

Are payment plans available?

Yes! All that’s required is a deposit of $100 to get started. Our payment plans are simple and easy, with no interest.

When you enroll for classes, choose the payment plan option, and an instructor will contact you to go over the details.

What should I bring to class?

For clothing, we recommend bringing a pair of scrubs and closed toe shoes to wear during classes. Feel free to bring a favorite pen, notebook, or planner (and if you forget, don’t worry. We have notepads and pens available anytime you need them.)
